The weather for Saturday's matchup between the BYU football team and the Idaho State Bengals was perfect for a November afternoon.
And for some Cougar fans, BYU's 28-3 lead at halftime was just as picturesque.
From Zach Wilson returning from injury to start at quarterback, to seniors scoring three of the Cougars' first four touchdowns on Senior Day, there was plenty to be happy about.
In the second half, Talon Shumway scored on his second touchdown of the day. On the next BYU possession, defensive tackle Khyiris Tonga -- at 6-foot-4, 321 pounds -- became the biggest player in BYU football history to score a touchdown on a 3-yard touchdown.
BYU defeated Idaho State, 42-10.

- some guy in the stands, probably
Awesome moment for Austin Lee. The Senior gets the pick 6 on Senior Day.— The Blue Brethren (@BlueBrethren) November 16, 2019
On that pick six my little guy lost it, screaming at the TV in celebration! I told him I loved him & he told me he loved me. His fate of a lifetime of heartbreak over BYU sports is all but sealed— Gahoolakoo🌲🏈🌲 (@alaskutahn) November 16, 2019
Sione Finau had a such a big hole to run through on that TD that I might've been able to gain five yards -- if I could run that far without falling over my own feet.— Jared Lloyd (@JaredrLloyd) November 16, 2019
You know the shame about being at the BYU game is we can’t blame the idiots in the stands on alcohol. Time to go back to decaf coke?— Chadd Johnson (@chaddyaj) November 16, 2019
Is Khyiris the heaviest player to score a TD this year???— Nate Slack (@nateslack5) November 16, 2019
Both of Talon’s touchdown catches have been big-time plays. I love seeing him finish his career so strong.— tanner mangum (@tannermangum) November 16, 2019
Wait, Idaho State has a 26-year-old player?— Jarom Jordan (@jaromjordan) November 16, 2019
HOW COULD BYU POSSIBLY MATCHUP WITH A PLAYER OF THAT AGE, MATURITY, AND EXPERIENCE???
After seeing what happened to Tua..they should pull Zach out now. Its 42-10— Lord Brotha (@Squally_Canada) November 16, 2019
Even though that play got called back, I think it’s safe to say Keanu Hill is winning over a lot of BYU fans. Big target with good hands looks like a contributor for years to come.— Andrew Adams (@AndrewAdamsKSL) November 16, 2019
