The rain and wind, along with falling temperatures were popular topics on social media for BYU football fans at LaVell Edwards Stadium on Saturday night during a game against Boise State.

The Cougars on the gridiron fought hard in the first half. The defense held the Broncos to a couple 3-and-out possessions, and only allowed one touchdown.

The BYU offense came out hot in the second half as running back Sione Finau scored on a 46-yard touchdown run to give BYU its first lead.

After a missed field goal by Boise State, the Cougars scored on their next two possessions, both touchdown passes to Matt Bushman.

The Broncos scored a touchdown, and a two-point conversion on the ensuing drive to cut into the BYU lead.

Late in the fourth quarter, Boise State drove 79 yards to score another touchdown, giving the Cougars a slim three-point lead.

BYU beat Boise State, 28-25.
