Here's a look at Tuesday's prep boys basketball action: 


Pleasant Grove 81, Lone Peak 55: At Highland, Noah Smithson had 15 points for the Knights, but it wasn't enough to stop the Vikings from conquering on the court. 

The Vikings got off to a good start, scoring 16 points in the first quarter, while holding the Knights to 12 points. In the second quarter, Pleasant Grove outscored Lone Peak 20-16 to create a eight-point buffer at halftime. 

In the second half, the Vikings continued to plunder, scoring 16 points in the third while keeping Lone Peak at 9. In the final quarter, the Vikings tallied up 29 points, while only allowing 18. 

Jaxon Pollard tallied nine rebounds and 12 points for the Knights, while Josh Jackson added 7 rebounds. 


Maple Mountain 47, Springville 42: At Spanish Fork, Braxton Tanner had 11 points and six rebounds to lead the Golden Eagles to a win over the Red Devils. 

Tyler Nelson led the Golden Eagles in scoring with 13 points, while Murdock Gunther led scoring for the Red Devils with 17 points.
