Here's a look at Friday's prep boys basketball action: 


Skyridge 40, Provo 39: At Lehi, Braden Housley scored 14 points and had four 3-pointers to lead the Falcons to a victory over the Bulldogs in Region 8. 

The game was close, with Skyridge boasting only a 23-19 lead at halftime. At the end of the third quarter, the Falcons were only sitting two points ahead.

Despite a rally from the Bulldogs, crucial rebounds in the fourth quarter helped the Falcons hold on to the win. 

Gabriel Gutierrez and Jared Perez led scoring for Provo with 13 points each.

Wasatch 61, Maple Mountain 49, OT: At Spanish Fork, Braxton Tanner scored 10 points for the Golden Eagles, but a Wasp rally in OT spelled defeat for Maple Mountain in region play. 

Maple Mountain had the lead early on, outscoring the the Wasps 27-19 in the first half. However, in the the Wasps outscored the Golden Eagles 13-10 in the third and 14-9 in the fourth to overcome the deficit and tie up the game. 

In overtime, Wasatch scored 15 points, while holding Maple Mountain to only 3 for the win.
