Here's a look at Thursday's prep girls basketball action:

Timpview 70, Taylorsville 61: At Taylorsville, Shalyn Fano had 23 points and 10 rebounds to lead the T'Birds to a rout of Warriors on Thursday night. 

The game started out close, with both teams scoring 19 points in the first quarter. However, by halftime the Warriors had accumulated a seven-point lead. 

In the third quarter, the T'Birds outscored the Warriors 20-13 to tie up the game at 53. The T'Birds put it away in the fourth quarter, scoring 17 points while keeping the Warriors to only eight points. 

Jasmine Espinoza had 19 points and Kealani Neves had 17 points for the T'Birds. Aubrey Yorgason led scoring for Taylorsville with 20 points. 

Provo 82, Salem Hills 64: At Salem, Lavender Briggs had 43 points to lead the Bulldogs to an overwhelming win over the Skyhawks. 

Provo took the lead early, earning a 41-27 lead at halftime. The Bulldogs continued their high scoring in the second half with 20 points in the third and 21 in the fourth. The Skyhawks were stifled in the third, only scoring 11 points, however, they outscored the Bulldogs in the fourth with 26 points. However, it wasn't enough to overcome the deficit. 

Spanish Fork 64, Skyline 52: At Salt Lake City, Eliza Bowman had 22 points and Taylor Stewart had 21 points to help the Dons edge out the Eagles on Thursday night. 

Spanish Fork took the lead early, scoring 32 points in the first half while Skyline scored 23. 

The Dons continued to dominate the Eagles in the third quarter, scoring 15 points while keeping Skyline to 10. The Eagles tried to rally in the fourth, scoring 19 points, but they were unable to overcome the Dons' lead. 

Stewart had seven rebounds for the Dons, while Haley Cardoza had six rebounds.

Emery 60, Springville 33: At Castle Dale, Meagan Jensen had 23 points to lead the Spartans to a rout of the Red Devils. 

Alta 46, Mountain View 39: At Orem, the Hawks outscored the Bruins in the third and fourth quarters to narrowly edge out Mountain View in non-region play. 

Westlake 61, Timpanogos 26: At Orem, strong defense and hot scoring led the Thunder to a win over the T'Wolves on Thursday. 

Mountain Crest 66, Payson 60, OT: At Payson, the Mustangs outscored the Lions 15-8 in overtime to win a non-region game on Thursday.
