Here's a look at Tuesday's prep girls basketball action: 

6A REGION 4

Westlake 61, Lone Peak 51: At Highland, the Thunder kept the Knights to four points in the first quarter, and held onto that lead to win in Region 4. 

Bingham 40, American Fork 36

5A REGION 7

Timpview 76, Alta 33: At Sandy, Ella Pope scored 20 points to lead the T'Birds to a win over the Hawks in Region 7 play. 

The T'Birds took the lead early, scoring 19 points in the first quarter while keeping the Hawks to six points. In the second quarter, Timpview outscored Alta 21-9, to give the T'Birds a 40-15 lead at halftime. 

In the second half, the T'Birds continued to dominate, scoring 12 points in the third quarter and 24 points in the fourth, while keeping the Hawks to eight points and ten points, respectively. 

Shalyn Fano scored 14 points for the T'Birds, with Jasmine Espinoza adding 12 points. Sydney Williams led scoring for the Hawks with 10 points. 

4A REGION 10

Uintah 66, Salem Hills 64: At Vernal, Brooke Vance scored 21 points and had eight rebounds for the Skyhawks in Tuesday night's loss to the Utes. 

Hailee Oldroyd scored 15 points for the Skyhawks, while Savannah Gustin and Maggie Moser each added 11 points. Gustin also had nine rebounds. 

Spanish Fork 63, Orem 54: At Orem, Eliza Bowman had 18 points and Erica Allan had 17 points to lead the Dons to a win over the Tigers. 

Haley Cardoza had 10 points and four blocks for the Dons.
