Jayden Clemons

Jr., quarterback

The Falcons went up against the 5A favorite in the state semifinals as Skyridge played against undefeated Corner Canyon.

Clemons wasn't flawless (14-of-30 for 263 yards with one interception) but he came up big when he had to.

The Falcon quarterback threw four touchdown passes, including connecting with Nate Upham from 23 yards out in the final minutes to secure the 34-33 victory over the Chargers.

Megan Feveryear

Pleasant Grove

Sr., swimmer

The 2017-18 swim season got under way last week with the Vikings hosting Lone Peak and American Fork in a tri-meet.

Feveryear had an excellent showing in the 100-meter breaststroke, finishing with a personal-best 1:17.67 and finishing second. She then bested that mark by finishing in 1:16.15 at the Cedar Invitational last weekend.

The senior also anchors two of the Pleasant Grove relay teams and will be a big part of her team's success this year.
