Here’s Prep Rally’s take on which are the five best softball teams in Utah Valley right now:

1. Skyridge (17-1, 5-1)

After losing to Springville last week, the Falcons get a chance for revenge on the road against the Red Devils on Thursday.

2. Spanish Fork (18-3, 7-0)

The Dons face a tough road trip to Uintah on Tuesday that will show where they are at.

3. Wasatch (15-4, 4-1)

Don’t look now but the Wasps are tied with Skyridge for first place in Region 8, which should make for a fun finish.

4. Springville (13-10, 4-2)

The Red Devils move into the Top 5 after their gem of a win over previously-undefeated Skyridge.

5. Lehi (13-12, 6-3)

The Pioneers lost big at Uintah but now have a chance to get on a roll heading toward the 4A playoffs.
