HIGHLAND — The Lone Peak boys tennis team won the Region 4 title and received the trophy Friday afternoon following the final league meet of the season. Pleasant Grove was the runner-up.

The Knights and Vikings qualified entrants in every bracket for the 5A state tournament scheduled for Thursday and Saturday next week at Liberty Park in Salt Lake City.

In addition, members of the American Fork and Lehi teams earned all of the region's other state berths but one. Following are the tournament qualifiers.

First Singles: 1st - Brocton Andrus (Lone Peak); 2nd - Jake Harris (Pleasant Grove); 3rd - Moses Chang (American Fork); 4th - Josh Aughenbaugh (Herriman).

Second Singles: 1st - Brigham Andrus (Lone Peak); 2nd - Tyler Harris (Pleasant Grove); 3rd - Jake Lambert (Lehi); 4th - Ben Davis (American Fork).

Third Singles: 1st - Micah Heimuli (Lone Peak); 2nd - Jack Hartvigsen (Lehi); 3rd - Joseph Chang (American Fork); 4th - Braden Adams (Pleasant Grove).

First Doubles: 1st - Tyler Miller and Keaton Mathis (Lehi); 2nd - Bryan Gricius and Niles Cochran (Lone Peak); 3rd - Spencer Wood and Josiah Shettell (American Fork); 4th - Steven Sheffield and Josh Lee (Pleasant Grove).

Second Doubles: 1st - Riley Court and Mckay Bischoff (Pleasant Grove); 2nd - Dallin Carrier and Josh Bearss (Lone Peak); 3rd - Matt Conover and Ashton Jensen (American Fork); 4th - Kenton Hartle and Adam Sanford (Lehi).
