With summer can come all sorts of flings, but according to Don Henley in his 1984 hit, his love can endure that. "I can tell you my love for you will still be strong, after the boys of summer have gone," he sings in “The Boys Of Summer.” The song made it to No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 and topped the Top Rock tracks chart, even winning Henley a Grammy Award for Best Male Rock Vocal Performance. The song was remade several times, including in 2003 by the Ataris for their album “So Long, Astoria.” Its lasting popularity through the years gives it the well-earned spot on this list.
