The Lions broke open a scoreless tie in the second quarter when Devan Judd hit Kyle Moffat on a 10-yard scoring play. Union’s lone touchdown came on a Jayde Bertoch four-yard scoring strike to Landen Winn.

• Wasatch 42, North Sanpete 13: At Mt. Pleasant, Wasatch quarterback James Delacenserie completed 13-of-18 passes for 441 yards and five touchdown to lead Wasatch (4-1) past North Sanpete (2-3) in non-region action.
Wasatch had 501 yards of total offense, most of it on Delacenserie’s TD passes of 21, 3, 73, 62 and 74 yards.
Kaden Poulson led North Sanpete, rushing for 159 yards on 16 carries, coming up with four catches — including a 27-yard TD pass from Brady Wheeler — for 54 yards and adding five tackles on the defensive end. The Hawks had 383 yards of total offense and 22 first downs.

Dani Perkins added two goals, while Kristi Taylor and Savannah Pritchett had a goal apiece, and North Sanpete also scored an own-goal for the Dons. All of the Don goals came in the first half.
Brooke Davis got the shutout in goal.
