Janessa Gene Melton, daughter of Jon and Julie Melton of Highland, received her Young Womanhood Recognition award Nov. 16, 2008. he is a member of the Highland 3rd Ward. For her service project she helped at the Developmental Center. She is in the 10th grade at American Fork High School. She likes snowboarding and wake boarding. She is a varsity cheerleader.
