The family and friends of Richard and Marlene Wood would like to congratulate them on their fifty years of marriage.¬ Married on Nov. 28, 1958, they held a triple wedding reception with Marlene’s two sisters, Nadine and Mary Monson, who were also married at the same time.¬ Richard and Marlene spent the majority of their married life in Orangevale and Newcastle, California where they raised their five children.¬ They moved to Provo a few years ago in order to be closer to family.¬ The family will be hosting an open house from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at the LDS Ward building on the corner of 300 N 100 E in American Fork, which is where the original wedding reception was held fifty years ago.
