Garff, Hingham wedding
CENTERFIELD– Keith L. and Christi B. Garff, Centerfield, announce the marriage of their daughter, Cari Lee Garff, to Whitney Morgan Higham, son of John and Julie Christensen, Mayfield; and Jerald and Wendy Higham, Gunnison, Friday Feb. 20, 2009, in the Manti LDS Temple.
A reception will be held in their honor that evening from 6 to 8 p.m., in the Mayfield Town Hall.
The bride graduated from Gunnison Valley High School in 2008 and is the former Miss Gunnison 2007. She attended Snow College and is currently transferring to Snow College South where she plans to continue her education as a dental hygienist. She is currently employed by Gunnison Subway.
Grandparents of the bride are Larry and Connie Bess, Scipio; and Ronald and Rachel Garff, Price.
The bridegroom graduated from Gunnison Valley High School in 2004 and attended Snow College. He served in the Philippines San Pablo LDS Mission. He is currently employed as a dental technician by Encore Dental, Monore, and plans to continue his education in the dental field.
Grandparents of the groom are Delmar and Shirley Higham, Gunnison; Ed and Bonnie Whitaker, Mayfield; Lorraine Whitaker, Yakima, WA; Kevin and Dorothy McGuire, Bountiful; and Chesley Ray Christensen, Mt. Pleasant, and the late Sharen Christensen.
The couple plan to make their first home in Richfield.
