GUNNISON– Robert and Suzanne Childs, Gunnison, announce the marriage of their daughter, Amanda, to Tyler Brothersen, son of John and Terri Brothersen, Mt. Pleasant, Saturday, Jan. 24, 2009, in the Manti LDS Temple.

The couple will be honored at a family luncheon that afternoon. No formal reception will be held.

The bride is a graduate of Gunnison Valley High School. She also graduated from Snow College with a degree in early childhood development.

The bridegroom is a North Sanpete High School graduate. He served in the Bacolod, Philippines LDS Mission. He is pursuing a degree as an electrician and is currently working for Cache Valley Electric Company.

The couple will make their first home in Nephi.
