NOTICE TO WATER USERS:

The State Engineer=s Proposed Determination and Recommendation of the Rights to the Use of Return Flow from Water Imported from the Uinta Basin to Utah Valley by the Strawberry Valley Project was published and served on interested parties on April 14, 2009. The Division of Water Rights prepared the Proposed Determination and Recommendation as directed by the Third Judicial District Court in Salt Lake County, Utah. Additional copies are available on the Division of Water Rights web site at www.waterrights.utah.gov/strawberryreturnflow or from the Division of Water Rights at the address below. Instructions on how and where to file an objection are included in the Proposed Determination and Recommendation.

THE INITIAL HEARING ON THE PROPOSED DETERMINATION AND RECOMMENDATION AND OBJECTIONS WILL BE HELD AUGUST 21, 2009, 9:00 AM, AT THE THIRD JUDICIAL DISTRICT COURT, 450 SOUTH STATE STREET, SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH.

NOTICE TO WATER USERS

The State Engineer received the following Application(s) in Utah County (Locations in SLB&M).

For more information or to receive a copy of filings, visit http://waterrights.utah.gov or call 1-866-882-4426. Persons objecting to an application must file a CLEARLY READABLE protest stating FILING NUMBER, REASONS FOR OBJECTION, PROTESTANTS` NAME AND RETURN ADDRESS, and any request for a hearing. Effective July 1, 2009, there will be a $15.00 fee for each protest filed. Protest must be filed with the State Engineer, Box 146300, Salt Lake City, UT 84114-6300 on or before MAY 27, 2009. These are informal proceedings as per Rule R655-6-2 of the Division of Water Rights.

(The Period of Use is generally year-round except irrigation which is generally from Apr 1 to Oct 31 each year.)
