NOTICE

The Provo City Redevelopment Agency, in conjunction with the Utah Valley Consortium of Cities and County, opens a thirty-day (30) comment period and invites citizens to comment on the 2010-15 Consolidated Plan and the 2010-11 Action Plan Update.

The 2010-15 5 year Consolidated Plan is an effort to consolidate the applications, planning, and reporting requirements of the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME Investment Partnership Act (HOME), Emergency Shelter Grant (ESG), and the Housing Opportunities for People with Aids (HOPWA) Programs.

The 2010-11 Action Plan will outline the proposed uses of federal funds for housing or non-housing community development needs. The Plan also lists non-federal resources available for those activities.

Member cities of the Consortium include: Lehi, Pleasant Grove, Lindon, Orem, Provo, Springville, Spanish Fork, Payson and Unincorporated Utah County. A copy of the 2010-15 Consolidated Plan and the 2010-11 Action Plan Update will be available for review at the Provo City Recorders Office, 351 West Center, Provo, UT 84601, between 7 am and 6 pm Monday through Thursday..

The comment period will open June 1, 2010 and will end July 1, 2010. Please refer all comments, both oral and written, to Robert Horton or Dan Gonzalez at 250 West Center, Suite 340, Provo, UT 84601. You may also call 852-6160 between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Or email comments to rhorton@provo.utah.gov or dgonzalez@provo.utah.gov. All written comments will be incorporated into the 5 year Plan.
