NOTICE TO

MECHANICAL

ENGINEERS

Nebo School District (the “District” is accepting Statements of Interest and Qualifications (“SOIQ”) from qualified firms to perform mechanical engineering services for the following proposed project(s):

HVAC Mechanical System Upgrades

HVAC Mechanical System Upgrades at Payson High School located at 1050 South Main, Payson, Utah, 84651; and Springville High School located at 1205 East 900 South, Springville, Utah, 84663. The HVAC Mechanical System Upgrades will involve the replacement of the existing steam heating system (with a hot water system), including boiler replacement. New DX cooling systems for the gymnasiums, little theatre, and auditorium. New DDC control systems to replace the existing pneumatic system. This will require the complete demolition of the existing boiler system, including the piping, and replacing it with the new boiler system and piping. The contractor will remove the existing ceiling in the gymnasium and paint the existing structure and new duct work. The contractor will be responsible for repairing and patching construction required for the installation of the new boiler system. To reiterate, this project will include: masonry patch and repair; steel joists and deck; millwork renovation; insulation (roofing); Tectum panels; drywall; suspended ceilings; and painting.

The total construction budget for this project(s) is not to exceed Three Million Seven Hundred Forty Thousand and 00/100 Dollars ($3,740,000.00), excluding engineering and architectural fees. The construction budget allocated for Payson High School is One Million Eight Hundred Thousand and 00/100 Dollars ($1,800,000.00), and the construction budget allocated for Springville High School is One Million Nine Hundred Forty Thousand and 00/100 Dollars (1,940,000.00).

The SOIQ information packets, including the submittal requirements and selection process, will be available beginning on May 11, 2010 at Nebo School District, Legal Department, 350 South Main, Spanish Fork, Utah, 84660. The SOIQ submittals will be accepted until 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 25, 2010, attention Reed B. Park at the offices of the District set forth below.
