Craig Dilger seems to be one of those people that would succeed at whatever they put their mind to. It just so happened he chose photography and ended up a staffer at the Daily Herald in Provo.

Craig played a big part in my own education- guiding me through Photoshop techniques, helping me edit assignments, teaching me advanced camera functions and entertaining us all with tales of his time assisting James Nachtwey in New York.

I’ve always appreciated how lucky I was to have such a valuable resource sitting next to me in the office and he was missed immediately after he moved to Maine.

Since then he’s had success with his own wedding photography business on the east coast while also freelancing regularly for the New York Times. In his free time he’s created some popular home-brews, ran far too much with his dog Miles and married his lovely wife Julia.

I’m sure if he ever picks up rocket science, he’ll succeed in that too.
