Audio: Kennedy talks like Romney

By Randy Wright - | Oct 13, 2012

”Kennedy”Listening to last week’s first presidential debate against President Barack Obama, I had the impression, when Mitt Romney spoke, that I was hearing JFK.

I found nine places in Kennedy’s Dec. 14, 1962 address to the Economic Club of New York that closely mirror what Romney is saying today: tax cuts are the best way to stimulate growth; the need to cut taxes while strengthening the military; a plan to reduce taxes on both business and consumers; lowering rates while eliminating deductions; cutting government through attrition; unemployed youth; and other topics.
