Provo Beach Resort hosting food drive for Community Action

Provo Beach Resort is celebrating National Family Month by hosting a month long food drive to benefit Utah County families. National Family Month promotes family togetherness and provides families with the opportunity to establish deeper bonds with one another. As part of the food drive, Provo Beach Resort will offer a $1 game bonus for every can brought in, up to $5 per customer for the month of June.

According to Community Action, 1 in every 6 children in Utah faces hunger. The month long food drive at Provo Beach Resort will directly benefit hungry families in Utah County. Community Action, a non-profit organization, provides local low-income families with access to critical basic necessities. Their goal is to help people become self-reliant concerning and understanding of financial issues.

Food Donations for The National Family Month Food Drive can be dropped off at Provo Beach Resort until June 28, 2013. Provo Beach Resort is Utah’s premiere family fun center. With bowling, indoor croquet, a ropes course, mega playground, Lazer Frenzy, Flow Rider, and a PGA Golf Simulators available, there is entertainment for everyone. It is located at 4801 N. Longtime local banker retires

G. Tracy Lewis, principal business banking relationship manager for Wells Fargo’s Utah County area, has announced he will retire July 5, following more than 39 years of service to the company.

Lewis, who began his financial services career in 1974, has held many leadership positions with Wells Fargo including, principal Business Banking relationship manager, Business Banking manager, Commercial Banking lending officer, store manager, assistant store manager and Mortgage lending officer.

Lewis has been a long-time member of the Risk Management Association (RMA) and has served with the Orem Rotary, Lions Club of Mt. Pleasant and as a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He also has served as president for the Mt. Pleasant Chamber of Commerce, Utah County RMA and Utah County Bankers.

Lewis graduated from Brigham Young University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in business management. He also is a graduate of the Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington.

Lewis is a veteran of the U.S. Army and has served overseas in Korea. He is married to the former Dixie K. Rosenlof of Mt. Pleasant, and they are the parents of two children, Jared and Estee.
