Pleasant Grove Walmart hiring for new neighborhood market
Walmart has announced it is now hiring for multiple positions for its new neighborhood market-style store that will be opening in Pleasant Grove later this summer.
The company has opened a temporary hiring center at 807 Pacific Drive, suite B, in American Fork to help the company fill up to 95 positions at the new store. The hiring center is scheduled to be open weekdays from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m., and Saturdays from 7 a.m. until noon.
Walmart Neighborhood Market stores differ from the traditional “big box” stores the company is known for. The market-style stores resemble what most consider to be a grocery store.
“My vision for the Walmart Neighborhood Market is to be a hometown store where associates know the customers and where customers enjoy coming throughout the week to save money so they can live better,” said store manager Kristin Rohling in a released statement. “I feel very blessed and excited for the opportunity to serve the Pleasant Grove community.”
Recently returned veterans interested in a position with the store may benefit from Walmart’s Veterans Welcome Home Commitment. The company has pledged to offer a job to any qualified veteran who has been honorably discharged within the past 12 months.
The store is hiring for full- and part-time positions. The majority of the new associates will begin work in July to help prepare the store for its grand opening.
