AtTask changes name to Workfront Inc.
LEHI — As of Jan. 22, AtTask — a cloud-based workplace management solution — will move forward with a branding change and a new name: Workfront Inc.
The change to the Lehi corporation’s brand aims to better convey the solutions available to its customers, according to Workfront.
“Simply stated, we have outgrown the AtTask name,” said Workfront CEO Eric Morgan in a press release. “The company was founded in 2001 and has evolved significantly since then. We now have over 500 employees, and more than 1,000 clients.”
The company currently works with Cisco, Comcast, Food and Drug Administration, National Geographic and REI, among other businesses and organizations.
“The name Workfront just made sense to tell the story of what we do,” Morgan said. “And the lion mark that is part of the logo is symbolic of the power our solution brings to our customers.”
The Workfront brand update comes not too long after the Aug. 2014 hiring of Joe Staples as its new Chief Marketing Officer to build the company’s brand and marketing organization.
According to the company, it’s experienced a three-year compound annual growth rate of 42 percent and manages 135 clients paying more than $100,000 in annual recurring revenue.
In 2014, AtTask was ranked in Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500, ranked 51st in MountainWest Capital Network’s Utah 100 and a winner of THINKstrategies Best of SaaS Showplace Award.
