Daily Herald claims more than 20 awards from Utah Press Association
The Utah Press Association annual awards banquet was held last weekend, and the Daily Herald walked away from the ceremony with more than 20 awards.
The Daily Herald won eight first-place awards, 14 second-place awards, and one third place award in the state contest. The Daily Herald competes against other daily papers in its division, such as The Salt Lake Tribune and the Ogden Standard-Examiner.
First-place work included photos from Isaac Hale and Evan Cobb and advertisements designed by Tim Mulvey and Heather Marcus.
