Timing was everything for Black Rifle Coffee Company and their newest location. The coffee shop opened their newest location in Spanish Fork, at 713 E. 800 N., on Memorial Day

“We had a great opening on Memorial Day, a tribute to those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our country and have welcomed in the community to kick-start the morning or for a pick-me up in the afternoon daily,” said Brandy Carlson, the company’s Director of Retail Marketing.

Based out of Salt Lake City, Black Rifle was founded on the mission of supporting veterans, active-duty military and first responders. According to their website, the company is committed to hiring 10,000 veterans as it expands.

Carlson said BRCC strives to be the top employer of choice for veterans, first responders and their families.

“We provide training and opportunities for advancement with like-minded individuals no matter what part of the business they’re supporting,” she said. “Our teams are dedicated to the lifestyle and the community that we’ve built. People want to work for us, and recruiting efforts are strong everywhere that we have opened.”

The Spanish Fork location opened with full staffing. BRCC chooses future locations based on key markets within communities that share company values, like Spanish Fork, according to Carlson.

In addition to employing veterans and first responders, Carlson added that the BRCC Fund provides millions of in-kind donations, annually.

“Never forgetting where the company started, Black Rifle Coffee Company makes it a point to stay engaged with the communities that help establish the basic principles that we operate on every day,” she said.  “People are making choices every day — whether it’s a coffee shop, a place to meet, or somewhere to stop for a treat — based on where their values are reflected.”

The Spanish Fork location, Black Rifle’s third in Utah, is fully equipped a drive-thru and indoor seating options, a coffee and espresso bar and a variety of coffee blends. It also offers a grab-and-go food and BRCC merchandise.
