The development announced that each of its new residential buildings will feature Peloton Spaces, an exercise area fitted with Peloton Bike and Peloton Row equipment, among other Peloton amenities.
“We’re only one of two ‘Powered by Peloton’ communities that have this commercial partnership with Peloton for residential spaces,” said Utah City spokesperson Jacklyn Briggs.
According to Briggs, Utah City was searching for amenities that fit the development’s criteria of well-being and connected living and reached out to Peloton, which got behind the idea.
“It’s very community oriented,” she said. “You have your groups that you bike with online. You have your favorite instructors, and they really rally around that fitness community. And that was very aligned with Utah City and how we want to create community and connection with people.”
The Utah City residential building will have built-in gyms, which include workout pods and larger gym areas, each fitted with Peloton equipment.
Bella’s Market nearing opening
The first grocery store to be built in Vineyard is nearing completion.
Bella’s Market, which is supported and managed by Lee’s Marketplace through a partnership in Utah City, will hold a grand opening Nov. 15.
“They haven’t had a grocery store in the Vineyard area for 100 years,” Briggs said. “This is something that people that live there need. … As Utah City, which is part of Vineyard, grows, it will be great that it’s right there, but there’s a need for it now.”
