‘Somethin’ ‘Bout a Truck’: Monster trucks rumble, rev their way into the fairgrounds
As country musician Kip Moore so perfectly sings, “there’s somethin’ ’bout a truck.” And boy is that true! There’s just something about a shined up, lifted, chromed-out, thrumming diesel truck.
Those decked-out trucks are sure to grab nearly everyone’s attention for one reason or another — guys want to know what kind of horsepower the truck has under the hood or what kind of exhaust system, while the girls want to check out the driver and slide into the leather interior.
Maybe that’s why monster truck events are so incredibly popular!
Clearly that popularity is why the Utah County Fair is eager to introduce their new Monster Truck event to this year’s fair line-up.
Monster trucks like Devastator and El Perro Loco will be rumbling and revving into the Spanish Fork Fairgrounds Arena to the delight of Utah Valley families and monster truck fans.
Witness these larger-than-life trucks as they defy gravity by jumping over various obstacles, spin donuts, race around the arena and even topple over.
Grab your best pair of ear plugs and prep yourself for the loud, engine-revving fun of this year’s first-time monster truck bash set for Friday, Aug. 15, at 7 p.m.
Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for children and available online at www.sfcitytix.com.
