Springville’s Art City Days summer celebration will include a free outdoor screening of Disney’s 2017 live-action film “Beauty and the Beast.”

The movie tells the story of an enchanted castle and prince, who is cursed to live in the form of a beast until true love breaks the spell. His chance to be freed comes unexpectedly when Belle, a young girl from a nearby village, visits the castle in search of her father, Maurice.

“Beauty and the Beast” was directed by Bill Condon and stars Emma Watson, Dan Stevens and Luke Evans. The film is rated PG by the Motion Picture Association of America for “some action violence, peril and frightening images.” Its runtime is 129 minutes.

The free family movie night will take place on Monday at dusk, around 9 p.m., at Spring Acres Arts Park, 700 S. 1300 East, Springville. Seating is general admission, and guests are invited to bring blankets and lawn chairs to sit on. A food truck roundup will sell concessions, or guests may bring their own snacks. Alcoholic beverages and dogs are not allowed.
