5 events you shouldn’t miss at Orem Summerfest

Summerfest Kick-Off Party

The evening will include live music storytelling and ice cream. There will also be a presentation of The Spirit of Orem Awards.

When: 6 p.m. June 10

Where: The Orchard at University Place; 575 E. University Parkway, Orem

The Re-Imagined Summerfest Car Show

This year’s car show will include a series of rare and authentic U.S. military vehicles and artifacts.

When: 6 p.m., June 12

Where: Scera Park; 600 S. State St., Orem

Carnival

The Orem Summerfest Carnival will run for three nights. Thursday night is Family Night, with $1 tickets.

When: Noon-10 p.m., June 13-14; 10 a.m-10 p.m. June 15

Where: City Center Park; 200 E. 100 North, Orem

Grand Parade

The Summerfest Parade will include a flyover from Barry Hancock and the North American T-6, an iconic aircraft used as the advanced pilot trainer for combat in World War II.

When: 7 p.m., June 15

Where: The parade begins at 800 East and 400 South and travels north to Center Street, then goes west on Center Street to State Street

Fireworks

The Summerfest Fireworks Show will complete the Summerfest celebration of 100-years of Orem.

When: 9:45 p.m., June 15

Where: City Center Park; 200 E. 100 North, Orem
