Bangkok Grill
The restaurant recently moved from its location on State Street to a strip mall on 800 South. The new digs are nothing to write home about, but the food sure is.
Everything we tried was worthy of praise. The Massaman Curry had just enough heat to balance the sweet coconut and curry sauce. The Pad Priaw Wan came with tender, high-quality beef and the chef’s specialty Honey Ginger Chicken was a great mix of flavors.
We can’t figure out why meals aren’t served with rice (costs $1 per person) and we weren’t overly impressed with the portion size (especially for $10 a plate). But the tasty Thai cuisine will bring us back for a $6.95 lunch special.
