Five Guys Burgers and Fries

The menu at Five Guys Burgers and Fries is pretty much stated in its title. Throw in four different kinds of hot dogs, a trio of sandwich offerings and fountain drinks, and you’ve got the whole shebang covered. This would be a great place to work as a teenager — with the classic rock playing over the loudspeakers, and the cooks and greeters pointedly conversing loudly and yelling out orders. The joint fairly bubbled with a boisterous energy. It would be hard to go wrong with any burger, and we really loved our Bacon Cheeseburger. One great thing about Five Guys is that all the toppings are free, so you can truly have it your way. The BLT Sandwich, Kosher Style Hot Dog and french fries were also hits with the diners at our table.

China Village

There’s an extensive menu at China Village, which probably serves some form of just about everyone’s favorite Chinese food. We had a round of chicken lettuce wraps to start before sampling the sesame beef and sweet-and-sour chicken, both of which are tasty. One thing that’s different at China Village is the General Tso’s Chicken — it was a little like eating General Tso’s Popcorn Chicken.
