tortilla.bar

If you are seeking traditional Utah County Mexican food, as can readily be found at dozens of area restaurants, then tortilla.bar (yes, the letters are lowercase) is not for you. If, however, you want a completely unique Mexican-based dining experience, from the interior itself to the over-the-top service, from the presentation of the meal to the out-there distinct flavors of the food itself, then this is a place you need to try. We especially recommend the Hanger Steak Taco and Avocado Taco, but also liked the Molotes (polenta dumplings with your choice of meat) and the Black Bean Soup. It also needs to be noted that portions are quite small for their price point, so you might want to order some churros for dessert.

Wild Mustang Grill & Bakery

A healthy appetite and a hankering for many Western and American favorites are the only real prerequisites to dining at Wild Mustang Grill & Bakery, which took over the building that previously housed McGrath’s Fish House in Orem. For entrees, we recommend the Stuffed Atlantic Salmon, the SkyFire Southwestern Salad and the Meat Lovers Pizza. The french fries and Tomato Basil Soup were also excellent. And be sure to save some room for pie.
