What to watch: Get spooky with the “Great Halloween Fright Fight” on ABC

By Stacy Johnson daily Herald - | Oct 28, 2014

Halloween week is here, and with it comes Halloween TV specials.

Tonight, forget Christmas lights and plastic Santas, as Halloween yard displays take over.

The producers of last year’s holiday show “The Great Christmas Light Fight” is hosting the one-hour special “The Great Halloween Fright Fight.”

The show pits families against each other for the best haunted Halloween display — and a $50,000 prize. ABC says the families on the show were chosen through a nationwide search based on previous Halloween displays.

The show airs at 7 p.m. on ABC.

Tuesday’s best bets: “NCIS” and “NCIS: New Orleans” are pulling big viewership every Tuesday night, each with more than 16 million viewers last week.

“NCIS” airs at 7 p.m. and “NCIS: New Orleans” airs at 8 p.m., both on CBS.
