From the Web: ‘Studio C’ spoofs time travel in clever new skit

By Kari Kenner - Daily Herald - | Oct 21, 2015

It’s Oct. 21, 2015, which means, for those familiar with the “Back to the Future” film franchise, it’s the day that Marty McFly, his girlfriend Jennifer and the acclaimed Doc Brown himself travel to from 1985.

Whether or not their approximations on the future were correct, the characters in “Back to the Future” played a pretty pivotal role in defining the concept of time travel through popular culture. They aren’t the only ones who can hop through the ages, though.

In a hilarious time-traveling spoof, the cast of BYUtv’s “Studio C” imagines what it would be like if many of pop culture’s time-traveling characters had the same brilliant idea: to kill Hitler before he can start WWII.

Studio C’s Jeremy Warner is the first to arrive in the past, followed shortly by Doc Brown of “Back to the Future,” Bill and Ted of the “Bill and Ted” film series, the Doctor from “Doctor Who” and Hermione from “Harry Potter.”

The skit, dubbed “Time Travel Heroes Change History,” is a pretty entertaining watch, especially for “Back to the Future” day. Check it out for yourself above, or for mobile users, by following this link.

Starting at $4.32/week.
