Free pancake day Tuesday at local IHOP restaurants

By Stacy Johnson daily Herald - | Mar 7, 2016

Tuesday is IHOP’s annual National Pancake Day, celebrated for 11 years with free pancakes.

The chain will be giving out pancakes to dine-in customers from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at locations around the world. Customers can get one free short stack per guest.

IHOP has hosted the free pancake day since 2006, and guests are asked each year to donate to a charity chosen by the restaurant. This year, the donations will be benefiting Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, or other designated local charities.

The chain says that the goal this year is $3.5 million in donations.
