The New Electric Sound headlines Velour Live Music Gallery's Saturday show.

Velour Live Music Gallery will host album-release concerts for Ryan Innes and The New Electric Sound this weekend.

Innes is an R&B artist, BYU alumnus and Vocal Point veteran known for competing on NBC’s “The Voice” in 2013. The local musician will perform at Velour on Friday at 8 p.m. in honor of his new album “The Inbetween.” The album is set to release worldwide April 13 but will become available digitally on Friday to those who pledge on Innes’ PledgeMusic campaign. Jenn Blosil also will perform at the concert.

The New Electric Sound is a rock band from Los Angeles whose sound is reminiscent of early surf rock bands, but with a modern twist. The group will perform at Velour on Saturday at 8 p.m. to celebrate the release of their new album “Tango,” which came out Tuesday. The concert also will feature bands Say Hey and New Hollywood.

Tickets to both album-release concerts are available online at 24tix.com for $10 each.
