Sting joins Utah Symphony at USANA for Zion National Park benefit concert

By Sarah Harris daily Herald - | Feb 12, 2019

Sting announced Tuesday he will perform with the Utah Symphony at USANA Amphitheatre in West Valley City on Aug. 31 at 7:30 p.m. to benefit Zion National Park.

All proceeds from the show will go to the Zion National Park Forever Project as part of the park’s centennial celebration.

Sting will perform his greatest hits — including fan favorites from The Police like “Roxanne,” “Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic” and “Every Breath You Take” — reimagined for symphonic arrangement at the concert, according to a Live Nation news release.

The Zion National Park Forever Project is a nonprofit partner of Zion National Park that aims to unite park, community and state partners to leverage resources to address visitation and park protection issues, according to the release.

Tickets to the show start at $35 and are set to go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. at Smith’s Tix locations, by phone at (800) 888-TIXX and online at smithstix.com.
