Marie Osmond confirms role as new co-host on ‘The Talk’
Marie Osmond was announced Tuesday on CBS’ “The Talk” as a new co-host for Season 10 of the talk show, starting Sept. 9.
“I have so much gratitude in my heart today,” Osmond said as she took her place at “The Talk” table. “I am honored to be here, and I am so excited to be here. To be able to sit at this table with these beautiful women is just a dream come true for me. I always wanted sisters.”
The Utah native, who has been a guest host on “The Talk” before, will replace Sara Gilbert and join co-hosts Sheryl Underwood, Carrie Ann Inaba, Sharon Osbourne and Eve on the series.
“I just want to say, Marie, what an unbelievable life you have had, and I cannot tell you how happy I am that you’ll be sharing all that knowledge, all of that love that you have in your heart with us at this table,” Osbourne said following the announcement.
“I will say this is such a magical place to work and such a magical table, and I’m so excited for you to have that experience,” Gilbert added. “I just think it’s going to be incredible for you, and I’m sorry I won’t be here to share it with you.”
