The Hallmark Channel's Christmas in July begins airing next week.

The holiday season is not limited to December. Even when the temperature outside is in the nineties, the snow still falls and the trees are still decorated with the festive lights of Christmas — on Hallmark Channel and Great American Family. Viewers can get a mid-year fix of holiday fun and get a taste of what is coming your way in December !

Great American Christmas in July

Great American Family is celebrating the holidays with its Great American Christmas in July 2023. Actually, the event kicks off on June 30. All of the favorite yuletide movies, along with one new one, will air on this family-friendly channel.

According to GAF, “Christmas is a time for caring and for being with the ones you love. You shouldn’t have to wait a full year to celebrate. Rekindle your love of Christmas with all of our classic Christmas movies and the premiere of an all new original movie, ‘A Belgian Chocolate Christmas.'”

Jaclyn Hales and Zane Stephens star in the delectable new film with a name that conjures up mouth-watering images. Kate (Hales) replaces her friend at a Belgian culinary school and is soon involved with Mathias, the chocolatier teaching the class. One thing leads to another as their romance blossoms, however there is a little problem with mistaken identity.

“A Belgian Chocolate Christmas” premieres July 8.

Great American Family is a go-to channel for family-friendly programming all year long.

Christmas in July returns to Hallmark

Besides two new films airing during this holiday marathon, Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries will air past holiday films continuously. This is the 11th year of the Christmas in July marathon for the network. The movies will air back-to-back from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. EDT/PDT.

The first of the new productions for 2023 is “A Royal Christmas Crush” starring Katie Cassidy and Stephen Huszar. Ava (Cassidy) is thrilled to get a job at the Royal Ice Hotel. The job is exciting in itself, but when she meets the actual prince (Huszar), things get heated and their romance is something neither of them counted on.

Some of the movie was filmed at the iconic Hotel de Glace in Canada, which was featured in two other Hallmark films — 2021’s “Baby It’s Cold Inside” and 2019’s “Winter Castle.”

Viewers will undoubtedly recognize this beautiful setting once again. “A Royal Christmas Crush” premieres July 8.

“The Christmas Reboot” pairs Vanessa Lengies and Corey Sevier. After a difficult time at work, Renee (Lengies) makes a wish for a different life. Lo and behold, her wish is granted. The problem is, wishing for the different and successful life she thinks she wants has consequences. Waking up the day after making the wish, she discovers she is a CEO living in a fancy New York City apartment.

The dilemma is that she is no longer married to her husband, Aaron (Sevier). This is not what she planned or wanted. Now, to get things back on track, she has to win his heart — again — before Christmas Eve. Challenge accepted.

“The Christmas Reboot” airs Saturday, July 15.

Viewers of these two channels know what they expect from their films. That is what keeps them coming back. Yet, even though they know what to expect, the different ways in which the two leads get together is always fresh and fun and this season is no exception.

Starting at $4.32/week.
