Jacob Nielson, Daily Herald
The Lindon Utah Temple is pictured Oct. 28, 2025.In conjunction with the planned open house for the new Lindon Utah Temple, the Daily Herald will be producing a special magazine commemorating the occasion. The magazine will include articles about the construction of the temple, the history of the area, temple building in Utah and more.
The Herald is currently seeking story ideas about the temple, its location and its construction as well as photographs of the temple construction process.
Story ideas could include people who have a personal connection to the temple or its property, historic church or community figures in the Lindon area, or groups or individuals who have marked the construction in some special way (such as weekly photos or visits, etc.).
Photos can be of any point in the construction process, from groundbreaking to the finished temple. Photos need to be high quality and of high resolution in order to reproduce in print.
If you would like to submit a story idea or photo for possible inclusion in the magazine, please email it to Christi Babbitt at christibabbitt@msn.com by Jan. 15, 2026.
Please include your name with a photo submission so a photo credit can be included with the photo in the magazine.
