As I’m writing this article, the weather report is showing that there are going to be a couple of 80 degree days before you read this, but that it’ll cool back down for another week or so.

Now, I know that it’s Utah weather, but trust me, the same thing happens every year, and SO MANY people make this mistake.

The weather gets hot for a day or two and a couple of people decide to be proactive and check their AC unit, but everyone else just pushes it off for another day.

You don’t realize how hard this makes your life a few weeks later… Once things warm up, everyone and their dog are going to be calling heating & air companies.

But by then it will be too late…

You’ll be forced to either suffer through the heat with your kids or go with some overpriced, under-trained technician who takes four days, five Home Depot trips, and three hidden fees to get your AC back online.

It’s sad how many people make this mistake year after year… In fact, the American Psychological Association reported that people spend 33% of their time procrastinating!

Now, the fix for this is so simple that your 4-year-old kid could do it with one hand behind her back… All you have to do is go to your thermostat and then flip the switch to turn on the AC.

Simple as that. Just turn it on and let it run for a few hours. Then if you see any problems with temperature, airflow, cold or hot spots, etc., just give us a call at (801) 515-2448 and we can get you in with one of our experienced techs before the warm weather rush.

So please don’t procrastinate any longer! Take the 14 seconds to walk to your thermostat and turn on the AC. That’s all it takes to avoid crazy prices, inexperienced technicians, and long, hot, sweaty wait times.

If you’ve got any questions or just want to go ahead and get your AC tuned up, give us a call at (801) 515-2448.

Hope this helps,
