Lehi looking for new head football coach

Lehi High School is advertising for the position of head football coach. The school will join 5A Region 4 next year.

All applications will be accepted, with preference given to certified teacher applicants. Certification in any subject will be considered.

Potential coaches should have a demonstrated background in motivating and inspiring players to perform at their best, individually and as a team. The coach is expected to be a positive role model for the team, school and community.

Certified applicants must also have a proven track record as a successful teacher in their subject.

Experience as a football coach at the high school or collegiate level is required. Applicants must be able to show significant personal experience, effort and involvement in a successful program.

The ability to teach basic and advanced football skills is required. Experience working collaboratively in educational and coaching settings is required.

Applicants need to submit a resume, letters of interest, and a statement of philosophy relating to education and coaching.

Five or more letters of recommendation are requested, including at least one from a former player, one from a player’s parent, and one from their current administrator. For certified applicants, the most recent teacher evaluation must be submitted.
