Rowena Clinger Parker Yorkovich

1921 ~ 2011

Rowena Clinger Parker Yorkovich, 89, passed away Monday, October 3, 2011 at the Canyon Breeze Senior Living in Orem, UT. Rowena was born in Orem November 17, 1921. She was the fifth of six children born to Josephine Hansen and Alfred Rowe Clinger. She moved to Southern California where she married Ross Parker, a maritime Marine. They were blessed with one child, Ronald Rowe Parker. Many years later she married a life long friend, Benny Yorkovich.

Rowena is survived by her son, Ron and his wife Sandy, and her sister, Virginia Birk. She was preceded in death by her husband, Benny, sisters Frances, Elvira, Hortense and brother Joseph Aaron Clinger.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 8, 20112 at 1:00 pm at the Sundberg-Olpin Mortuary 495 South State St., Orem, UT. There will be a viewing one hour prior to the service.
