Cole

Christiansen

1957 ~ 2012

A lifetime resident of American Fork passed away unexpectedly on April 26, 2012. Born to Wayne and Colleen Christiansen on May 13, 1957. He was followed by his younger sister, Claudia, and brother Mark (Lorie).

Cole spent his younger years playing baseball, and going camping and fishing, which he loved very much. He attended American Fork High School and met many dear friends along the way. Cole worked at Utah Refactories most of his adult life. He was very dedicated to his work and providing for his family, so much so that he spent his final moments at his work.

Cole married Sonja Houston and had two sons, Tristan Wayne and Landon Joseph. They later separated. Cole then met and married his best friend Janet Dee Tanner on August 28, 1992. They have been together almost twenty years. Together they had their two red-headed daughters, McKell and Shontell.

In his later years Cole was devoted to taking his family on fishing trips, coaching softball, and working on his yard and maintaining his vehicles. He will be dearly missed.

Cole is preceded in death by his father and mother, his sister, Claudia, and his oldest daughter Cami Christiansen. The family would like to extend their gratitude toward Cole’s family, friends, work, and hospital.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the American Fork 3rd Ward, 165 North 350 West. Friends may call Monday from 6-8 p.m. at Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 East 100 North and Tuesday from 9:45-10:45 a.m. at the church. Burial in American Fork Cemetery.
