Teresa Lee

Jarrett Scott

In Loving Memory of Teresa Lee Jarrett Scott

Our beloved mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and wife, Teresa Lee Jarrett Scott, was called home to her loving Father in Heaven on Saturday, March 23, 2013. Teresa was born January 23, 1968 to Michael and Marcia Jarrett in Payson, Utah. She was raised in Orem, Utah and later settled in Salem, Utah with her husband, and two children. She enjoyed many hobbies including cooking, reading, and crafting. Teresa had a love for muscle cars, especially Mustangs. She loved eating out at the Olive Garden and would never pass up the opportunity to go there. She especially enjoyed spending her free time at the Temple.

Her greatest loves in life were her two sons, her family, and her friends. She has left behind a legacy of selfless dedication and service to others. Her heart was full of love and kindness and she showed it every day of her life. Teresa’s sacrifices for others were never-ending.

Teresa’s greatest accomplishment in life was raising her two sons to be hard-working, respectful, and caring individuals. She taught them to live the principles of the Gospel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints through her own example. She left this life knowing her sons were the men she raised them to be.

She married Tracy Aaron Scott on October 29, 1994. They were sealed for time and all eternity in the Manti LDS temple on October 29, 2010.

Teresa is survived by her two sons Thayne Aaron Scott and Tyson Robert Scott; her mother and father Michael and Marcia Jarrett; her grandmother Ada Jarrett; her brothers and sisters, Richard (Joyce) Jarrett, Tina (Steve) Smith, Rodney (Shiloh) Jarrett, and Randy (Melissa) Jarrett; and 18 nieces and nephews that she loved dearly. She is preceded in death by her grandparents Frank and Letha Tidwell, Thayne Jarrett; and her sister Terry Lynn Jarrett.

A viewing for friends and family will be held Thursday, April 4th from 6pm- 8pm at Walker Funeral Home 187 S. Main Street Spanish Fork, Utah.

Funeral services will be held Friday, April 5th at 1 pm in the LDS chapel located at 60 S. Main Street in Salem, Utah. A viewing will be held at the chapel prior to the funeral from 11:45-12:45. Following the funeral, graveside services will be held at the Orem City Cemetery located at 1520 N. 800 E.

In lieu of flowers, a charitable fund has been set for Teresa’s children. Donations can be made at any American West bank under Teresa, Thayne, and Tyson Memorial Fund. The family would like to encourage those who would like to visit a Temple in honor of Teresa.
