Ray Edwin Johnson 91, died December 22, 2012 in Lexington MO. In accordance with his wishes he was cremated and his remains will be interred in Spanish Fork, UT.

Ray was born October 13, 1921 in Spanish Fork to Wm. M. and Myrtle Hardy Johsnon, 5 minutes after his twin brother, Reed.

He proudly served in Patton’s Army, 80th division in Europe during WWII. He pursued a career in dentistry, practicing in Sacramento, CA. He married Lois Williams August 18, 1951. They had 3 children; Vicki, Ed and Cindy. He dearly loved his family, his rose gardens and golfing with friends.

Ray was preceded in death by his brothers Blaine, Allen, Roland, Reed and Glen; his sisters Norma Schultz and Betty McKell. He is survived by his brother Paul (Barbara); his sisters Marion Parduhn, Donna (Richard) Johnson, and a sister-in-law Jackie Johnson. Also survived by his loving and devoted daughter, Cindy, of Napoleon, MO with whom he had been living in recent years; son Ed Johnson and daughter Vicki Johnson, both of Sacramento., CA; his much loved and caring granddaughter, Shannon (Shelby) Smith, two grandsons, Kevin (Kasie) Johnson and Nicholas Johnson; two great grandchildren, Haley Rae Smith and David Smith. Many nieces and nephews and his forever friend, Joe McCraw.

A special thanks to Ray’s nephew, Blaine Johnson, Jr., for his kind and caring visits when Ray was living in Grass Valley, CA.

A graveside service with Military honors will be held at Spanish Fork Cemetery, Saturday, march 30th at 1:00 p.m., 420 S. 400 E., Spanish Fork.
