Even more Road Trippin' adventures we couldn't fit into this special section include the stunning hikes at Zion National Park, the magnificent vistas of the Grand Canyon and even the adventurous fun of Park City's Olympic Park with all it's zip lines, mountain coasters and alpine slides.

What’s more fun than packing up the family and taking them on a long road trip?

Almost anything!

No fear this year. It’s the Daily Herald to the rescue!

We’ve compiled a great group of stories that help you see the variety of options along the road. There are ideas for short road trips — think Staycation! — as well as tips for vacations to specific locations.

Whether it’s making a trip to Las Vegas more family-friendly, taking advantage of all the fun kids activities Bryce Canyon National Park has to offer, or even tips for capturing the best photographs at one of the most scenic canyons in the West, we have tips for everyone.

As we round the homestretch of summer don’t forget to take advantage of all the great places to travel nearby. You don’t have to spend thousands of dollars to take a great family trip, just a little planning and a great sense of adventure.

Happy travels!
