Mace Tell Gubler, age 69, from Santaquin, Utah passed away on October 4, 2015.

Mace was born December 9, 1945, in LaVerkin, Utah, to Harriet Mace and Donworth Vernon Gubler. The oldest of nine children, he lived in many places, growing up with many wonderful experiences. He graduated from Springville High School and while in college, joined the ROTC. He attained multiple degrees in Recreation Management and Vocational Education from BYU. He continued his devotion to his country by serving in the USAF, reaching the rank of Captain.

Professionally, he gravitated towards all things mechanical.

Mace had a lifelong passion for scouting. Achieving the rank of Eagle Scout started him on a path of leadership and involvement with the BSA. He was gifted musically, learning a variety of instruments.

Mace was a member of the LDS Church. While still in high school, he served in a branch presidency and later as a missionary in the North British Mission.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Harriet and Donworth Gubler. Survived by his children: Janelle Peterson, Natalie Miller (Jason,) and Wandle Gubler; six grandchildren; siblings: Ila Harmer (David), Elva Selman (David), Suzanne Billings (Larry), Trevelene Ramsdell (Rick), Hank Gubler, Sylvia Bader (Dean), Renae Guercio (Scott), and Vernon Gubler (Fawna).

A graveside service will be held at Payson City Cemetery on Friday, October 30, 2015 at 11 a.m.
