With Mother’s Day on the horizon, if you haven’t yet taken the time to select a gift for the woman that gave you life, you might need to start shopping. And in case you need help, local YouTube prankster Stuart Edge is here to guide you.

True to form, Edge released a new video to his YouTube channel Thursday, offering somewhat comedic guidance for a meaningful Mother’s Day gift courtesy of a prank collaboration with the YouTubers of JStuStudios.

For the prank, Edge and his team petition strangers for advice on their supposed Mother’s Day gifts, which are, in actuality, a bag of totally random items. From diaper rash cream to a battery, WrestleMania cards to a bronze pigeon, the bags have some true gems when it comes to random junk, and the team must remain straight-faced as they explain why they selected such … special gifts.

“The point of this video is to show that (you should) give something to your mom for Mother’s Day that’s sentimental,” Edge said, in a short clip following the video. “It doesn’t really matter what it is. If you put some thought into it that’s what matters.”
