Utah Valley Living: 3 events to check out this week (Dec. 13-21)

The full Utah Valley calendar of events is on L4, but here are three local events you should check out this week:

1. Skate with Santa

Peaks Ice Arena, Provo, Dec. 13, 4-5 p.m.

One of the classic winter activities is to strap on the ice skates and glide around the rink. To make it extra special, add the most famous jolly old elf of them all. The Peaks Ice Arena Facebook page says, “Santa is making a special stop at Peaks Ice Arena! It’s the jolliest skate of the season. Come out and enjoy a cheerful afternoon on the ice. Don’t miss this festive public skate and Santa meet-and-greet.”

2. Deck the Dome – Holiday Laser Show

Christa McAuliffe Space Center, Pleasant Grove, Dec. 13-31, 5:20-8:45 p.m.

For a chance to mix some holiday spirit in with the immensity of space at the Deck the Dome Holiday Laser Show at the Christa McAuliffe Space Center in Pleasant Grove. The center’s website says, “Immerse yourself in the dazzling effects of our laser light shows while listening to some of music’s greatest hits. Memorable date nights and family friendly fun for all ages. Experience some of the greatest Christmas hits from Mannheim Steamroller and the Trans Siberian Orchestra.”

3. A Krampus Karol 2025

Angelus Theatre, Spanish Fork, Dec. 13-23, 7:30 p.m.

Looking for something a little different this holiday season? Check out the fun musical thriller at Angelus Theater in Spanish Fork.
